The Quest for the Lost Treasure

The sun was setting over the small town of Willow Creek, casting a warm glow on the dusty streets. In a cluttered attic, fifteen-year-old Mia rummaged through old boxes. She loved exploring her grandmother's house, where every corner held a story. As she opened a worn-out trunk, a rolled-up piece of parchment slipped out, landing softly on the wooden floor.

Curiosity sparked in Mia’s eyes. She picked up the map, its edges frayed and its symbols faded. "Leo! Come look at this!" she called excitedly. Moments later, her eleven-year-old brother Leo bounded up the stairs. His blond hair fell over his forehead as he leaned closer to the map.

“Wow, what is it?” he asked, his eyes wide with wonder.

As they discussed their plan, their neighbor, Sam, a clever boy with a knack for trouble, overheard them. He poked his head through the attic door. “Treasure? Count me in! I know all the shortcuts in the woods,” he said, a mischievous grin on his face.
