Chapter 1: The Dullsville Dilemma**
In the heart of Dullsville, where excitement took a permanent vacation, sat the office of Weatherman Corp. Employees shuffled in and out with the enthusiasm of sloths in a traffic jam. Among them was Benny, a lanky fellow with glasses that always seemed to slip down his nose, Mary, a cheerful woman with a knack for baking, and Tom, a prankster who could turn a stapler into a joke.
One dreary Tuesday morning, as the clock ticked slowly toward lunch, Benny glanced at Mary and Tom. “What if we just… escape?” he whispered, a glint of mischief in his eye.
Mary perked up, “Escape? Like a prison break?”
“Exactly!” Tom chimed in, grinning. “We could plot our great escape right under Boss’s nose!”
“Let’s make a plan,” Benny urged. “We need to be clever.”
Over the next few days, they plotted during boring meetings and hid their escape maps in the office fridge behind the leftover lasagna. Each day, they would make little adjustments, like crafting disguises out of old paper clips and colored sticky notes. Tom even managed to sneak in some fake mustaches, which they proudly wore at their desks.
One afternoon, as they prepared for the big day, Mary baked cookies for the journey. “You can’t escape without snacks!” she declared, stuffing a whole batch into a backpack.
Finally, the day arrived. With a mix of nerves and excitement, they agreed to make their move during the afternoon coffee break.
