The Misadventures of Larry and the Lost Sandwich

Larry sat at his desk, the aroma of his homemade sandwich wafting through the office. It was a masterpiece: perfectly toasted bread, fresh lettuce, juicy tomatoes, and just the right amount of mustard. He had spent the entire morning looking forward to this moment.

As he reached for his lunch bag, he noticed something odd. “Where’s my sandwich?” he mumbled, digging through the bag frantically. All he found was an old apple and a crumpled napkin. Panic set in.

“Hey, Larry! Looking for something?” called Sarah, the office’s resident prankster. She peeked over the partition, a mischievous grin on her face.

“My sandwich is gone!” Larry exclaimed, his voice rising in panic. “I had it right here!”

“Maybe it walked away on its own,” she chuckled.

Just then, Mr. Thompson, the serious office manager, walked by. “Larry, is everything okay? You seem… distressed.”

“My sandwich is missing!” Larry shouted, half in despair, half in disbelief.

“Have you checked the break room?” Mr. Thompson suggested, his brow furrowing in concern.

Without another word, Larry bolted toward the break room, determined to find his lost treasure.
