The Great Office Prank War

It was a typical Tuesday at the dreary offices of Widget Corp. Cubicles lined the walls like a row of tombstones, each one occupied by a tired employee. The hum of fluorescent lights and the constant clicking of keyboards created a symphony of boredom. But in the far corner, two coworkers, Tom and Jenny, were about to change that.

Tom, a lanky guy with a penchant for mischief, leaned back in his chair, a sly grin spreading across his face. “You know, Jenny, I think it’s time to liven things up around here.”

Jenny, a spirited woman with bright red glasses, raised an eyebrow. “What do you have in mind?”

“Pranks!” he declared, his eyes twinkling with excitement. “Let’s show these people what fun looks like.”

And just like that, the Great Office Prank War began. Tom kicked things off by covering Jenny’s desk with sticky notes. Every surface, every stapler, every pencil was drowned in a sea of neon colors. When Jenny walked in, her jaw dropped.

“Really, Tom? Sticky notes? How original!” she laughed, plucking one off her computer.

“Just wait until you see what I have planned next,” he replied, smirking.

That afternoon, Jenny decided to retaliate. She snuck into Tom’s cubicle while he was at lunch and replaced his computer mouse with a rubber chicken. When Tom returned, he sat down, clicked the mouse, and the rubber chicken squeaked loudly. The entire office erupted in laughter.

“Okay, okay! You win this round,” Tom said, chuckling as he picked up the chicken. “But just you wait!”
